Trac off light

Does anyone know if an O2 sensor will cause trac off light to come on an 2001 cavalier. car runs fine , no change in gas mileage

uhh.... no... thats your traction control. Like if you've been doing e-brake slides in the snow it will come on. I've had it come on before. Just shut the car off and turn it back on..could also be somthing with your e-brake.

need a new newbie patrol

I thought this might be a place where I could get some good information from knowledgeble people but I guess this is not the case. It looks like the only one that answers has nothing else to do except make smart remarks and give bad advice. Get a life newbie patrol

I had the same problem and it turned out to be the o2 sensor. The sensor right underneath the 3rd spark plug approx. Hope this helps.
