'94 SL-1 SOHC ----- Aftermarket Gauges???

I am using a 94 saturn SOHC in my project car (not a saturn) and am wondering where to connect a tach and possibly an oil pressure gauge.
The RPM signal wire at the coil packs seems like a likely connection but i don't know if that would affect the signal back to the computer. I also know the SOHC motor has only an oil pressure switch and not a pressure sender and the switch is threaded into a port that is rather large. Is there a boss somewhere that can be drilled and tapped or another connection point that would have been used on an SL-2 (same block as far as I have heard) that is somehow blocked off?

Thanks for the help,

Jay
