Re: radiator

You can get radiators fixed, but its not a good idea, they never usually last that long, you`d be better of replacing it with a blueprinted one, not as expensive as a Toyota dealers, but exactly the same size, capacity etc.

Re: radiator

No, not really. it used to be widely used years ago when engines were simple, its called "radweld", but I wouldnt use it as it can block up other things too and lead to even more damage, bigger expense. When my dad was a lad, if you had a leak in your radiator, you would put a raw egg in the radiator which would find the hole and "cook" itself into the hole and plug the leak. Wouldnt recommend doing that though. Seriously, its worth the chew on, and the expense of getting a new radiator, at the very least you get peace of mind knowing that your not going to get stuck miles from home should the repair fail, which it will do eventually as "Radweld" was only ment as a temp fix.
If you want a cheap fix (temporary) if its a very small hole, drain the system and mix up some resin glue "Araldite" is the UK name for it, I`m sure there is a USA equivalent. and stick that over the hole, should hold for a while till you can afford to buy a new radiator.
