Anyone know if there is a sensor or freeze plug at the
top rear driver side of the motor? (on the head) ON these cold days I'm getting a coolant leak until the motor warms up a little. Even with a mirror I can't get a good look from any angle. I hope it's not the head. No coolant being burned or in the oil. |

Just had the same problem and my leak was at the intake manifold(98 Blazer). My leak sounds very similar to yours talonx. I was not losing much coolant just on cold days, like you explained. After investigating the leak further I could see where it was running between the intake and the head. It travels to the rear of the motor then exits to the ground.
Hope this helps. |
