Which models had these???

I'm looking in to do something to my car and i need to know which models of the 92-95 civic's had the Vtec-e??? I really want regular Vtec. What are the differences??? let me know and thx!!!

reply i think the only 92-95 civics that had vtec were the ex(coupe) and the si(hatch) and dont know anything about the vtec-e

i know that only the ex and si's had the z6 in them, but a guy is trying to sell me a complete head off of a 94, but it has Vtec-E not the regular vtec. I need to know what the advantages and disadvantages are for the Vtec-E!!! thx anyway tho. anyone else?

Only HX models have VTEC-E I think.

You can go here to read up on it. The VTEC-E description is near the bottom.

Yeah same here...up until about a year and a half ago i didn't know it existed either....but they are really good start off cars. Check out this months super street if you can. There this guy in there with this really sweeeeeeeet:bandit: hatch....he made it all JDM. Check it if you can.

and the vx has a whopping 92 hp. lol. at least it's not like the cx with 70 that's damn pitiful

5th Gen had the Vx, The 6th gen has the Hx.

the 5th gen VX had VTEC-E. It was a 1.5L SOHC VTEC-E. Only the 92-95 Civic EX coupe and Civic HB Si had the 1.6L SOHC VTEC. The 6th gen had the HX Coupe which was also VTEC-E.
