Remote starter/keyless???
Iv got a 92 voyager 3.3 that has the keyless entry/remote starter. The lock/unlock is the lock button its not separate. So basicly the unlock button does nothing. The panic button does nothing, and there is a picture of a car with an arrow from the back to front dont know what it suppose to do but it does nothing. And the starter only works when it wants and when it does work i have to press and hold the botton about 5 sec's or so it seems. Sometimes il hit the button to start and il hear the switch kick the lights switch on then it does nothing and lights go off. Any ideas to get this to work better? I see the remote box mounted right above the brake pedal.

Re: Remote starter/keyless???
First off, you have to hold the button down for 5 seconds to get it to start, that is how it works, for safety reasons. It is a 5 second default. To lock and unlock the doors, try pushing it more than once.

like i said it only works half the time it will click like its going to start then it doesnt and sometimes it starts. I think the wires are hooked wrong or mabey it has a bad ground or the thing needs reprogrammed. Or its just junk.

Re: Remote starter/keyless???
harborfreight.com has an alarm with keyless entry and remote start for 49.99. They may have a store near you, there is one close to me.
