driver side sliding door lock gets stuck

The sliding door lock on the passenger side of my 2002 dodge grand caravan is getting stuck. All the other doors unlock except that one. Once in a while it will unlock and lock but most of the time I have to do it manually. Any idea what is causing this problem

Re: driver side sliding door lock gets stuck

I saw your post and I wanted to see if you got it fixed, I have a 2001 T&C and the passenger sliding door won't open in any manner.
Thanks

Re: driver side sliding door lock gets stuck

I had the same problem with my 97. It was a quick painless fix, and does not cost a thing. If your having the same problem, just clean the two round electrical connections on the inside of the door jam on the b pillar between the front and sliding door. This connection is the same reason your door wont lock or unlock while open and delays until you close it. Good luck.
