Engine dies

Hi. Got a '94 LeSabre with about 94,000 miles on it. After it warms up, it dies just as it comes to a stop with RPM's down, at a stop sign for instance. Starts right up with no problem. Service Engine Soon warning is on. MAS was recently cleaned. Thanks in advanc3.

Re: Engine dies

I think by "dying coming to a stop" you really mean that the car doesn't idle correctly. Your problem is related to the CES light, as the car is in "limp mode". You need to get computer malfunction code. Some parts stores like Autozone will pull the codes for you for free. If you wish to do it your self, you need only put a jumper wire into slots of a connector to put the computer into diagnostic mode. The connector is located under the ash tray/radio and easily accessed from under the dash.
The following link outlines the procedure and gives you the meaniing of the malfunction codes.
