removing the dash cluster

I am wanting to paint the standard black face plate for the gagues, as well as the plastic circular piece thats right behind the stering wheel. but when i tried a while ago (didnt try toooooo hard) it seemed very difficult to remove. is there a manual online, or can someone please explain what needs to be done to remove the little cluster area

Re: removing the dash cluster

in short, from memory -

1. remove two bolts on top of dash hidden by pop-off covers
2. pry up on rear of dash(side closest to seats), then pull back
3. pull off radio trim
4. remove bolts from gague cluster cover trim and remove trim
5. unbolt gauge cluster, disconnect wiring, and remove
