Check Engine/Doesn't Move

Good Day,

Check engine light on continuous, van will drive for a few minutes and then it's like tranny slowly starts to disengage and then nothing.

As soon as you turn off the van and back on again, it's like it's reset and works for a few minutes again and does the same thing.

Any help / advice would be appreciated.

The CEL is probably on due to problems in the transmission. When you restart the van it goes into the limp mode for a short period of time and then fails again. You will probably have to replace the transmission. However, make absolutely certain that the fluid level is proper because low fluid can do strange things. Best guess though is tranny replacement.
