Question will h22 turbo kit work

I've been looking for a turbo kit for my 92 prelude h23, and i haven't seen many.I have seen alot more for an h22. I was woundering if you can make an h22 kit work on a h23.( why are there so many more kits for an h22)

the h22 was a more popular one and there are i think three different h22 motors. there's the h22 the h22a1 and the h22a4. there are some kits our there for the h23, and u will stuill get the same amount of gains, but the final whp will be lower than that of the h22 b/c of the VTEC. if u are really concerned put the h22 head on ur h23 motor to give u the VTEC. i think this might make it easier to find kits. for finding the best one for ur car and wat u want to do search at individual sites like turbonetics and garret maybe even greddy. if that doesnt work google it. best of luck

i've heard about ptting a h22 head on the h23 block,but i was woundering what is so different that a h22 kit can't work on an h23.what is it that won't fit or wont work.

the difference is that the h23 is .1L larger than the h22. i think that is the big difference.

well for one a h22 exhaust manifold cant be bolted to a h23 i believe..im sure the tuning wouldnt quite be the same either...with the vtec and all

everything will fit except for the turbo manifold. the bolt pattern and port spacing is different.

hey i found a great turbo set up for the h23 engine. its by turbonetics, which is an outstanding company. visit their site or call them cause it sounds sweet.
