90 f150 six cylinder five speed acceleration hesitation.

At about 1300 to 1500 rpms hesitation cccurs. Before and after this window there is no problem. The truck runs strong. 164,000 miles on the engine. Had the EVP sensor replaced as "the cause of the problem". Problem still there. Replaced the fuel filter to no avail.
