F-body 95 Camaro Bose-Wiring System
I decided to post this in a new thread for those of you that would not of seen my previous thread with the problem putting in a aftermarket receiver into a stock bose system. The below site will show you the bose wiring system which differs from conventional wiring systems. If you went today and bought a GMC wiring harness for your receiver. Chances are it would not work with the Bose system. I hope this helps anyone with the nightmare of plug and pray wiring harness.

Re: F-body 95 Camaro Bose-Wiring System
Places like crutchfield sell adapter to plug a non bose head unit into a bose system or on the other hand if your replacing the speakers you should just replace the head unit anyway. Also I did this on one of the bose systems in my Vette and it worked. I removed the speaker enclosure and bypassed the amp and solder the wiring directly to the speaker and this worked but there are tons of options at this point of dealing with bose. Hell even some companys like Pioneer and Jenson make direct replacement.
