bigpoppax2, amigo-2k, rodeo02.

Nothing but helpful, here very regularly, and at least two of them I've seen in multiple forums doing the same good work there as they do here.

I think we should see if the current nominees will accept said nominations as we continue. No sense voting for those who don't want to/ don't have time to mod the forum for us...

Just a thought.

Good.

Here's the standings so far:

Amigo-2k: 4 votes
Rodeo02: 3 votes
poppax: 1 vote

How many votes do we need before we declare a winner?

Can we just say something like 10, and give them an interim job?

It's all you Ryan! In my opinion, you are the best person for the job. I would definitely provide support, backup, VP status, if the higher ups at AF deem it appropriate .

G/luck!!

My vote is for the obvious, those that visit the site and post daily, those that are well informed, and those that have shown to have positive attitudes so as to keep others in line when necessary.

The obvious votes have already been made:

rodeo02
amigo-2k

I know there's several others that deserve nomination, I just am not here regulalrly enough to be sure the nomination would be appropriate. I will say, I've named you in other posts for special thanks and praise, so don't think I've forgotten about you (pretty sure a 1st gen candidate choice of rodeo95 and rodeo95.5 would be good, again, not sure as I'm only here every few days!

I think for the first gen people, we don't necessarily need them represented by a moderator (no offense), a moderator is really acting to oversee the site, the 1st gen knowledgeable people can still contribute as always. But, that's just my opinion!

VIVA Rodeo!

SOLSTER

Glad to see we're getting a moderator!

amigo-2k, rodeo02 = great choices.
However, let's not forget about 2eyefishclaw, I would say he the most certified based on mechanical knowledge.

Absolutely agreed...but from another standpoint, isn't a moderators job technically composed of being here very regularily and ensuring fair practices of the forum.

Not to take away from anyone whatsoever, but the moderator need not be the most intelligent on a particular subject, just open-minded, fair and non-judgemental.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought it was the mod's job to kind of 'police' the posters of a forum, it's just an added bonus that we will certainly have someone mod'ding that is fluent in our subject.

/open to critisism

Steve
