Mirage 92 1.5

just rebuilt my entire engine after i tried to sell it and someone didnt know how to drive a standard apparently. redlined every gear snapping a NEW tiing belt bending all 12 valves, and blowing the head gasket. So i said what the hell and rebuilt it from valves down. putting over sized pistons 50 MM over, adding a header, and cold intake, and waiting for a 15-20+ Hp guarenteed (chip). so i 1.5 after that bore making it about a 1.7-8 and adding more than the stock 92 HP. whatcha think?

where did you find a chip for the 4g15? Sounds like a good plan. Keep us updated on how it goes.

you can overbore the 4g15 to a 1.6 but going any bigger is not recomended , you'll blow the cylinder walls

Checking back

well i rebuilt it and if you know alot about the mirage im having a problem with getting it started. after the complete build ive been checking all the sensors cause it is shooting to rich and fouling out the plugs. I need to find out what it is cause if i try to start it to much it will clean the oil off the cylinders and it could cause my rings to go bad again. Let me know what u think or if uve had and sensor troubles. thank you

when i blew my engine i just swapped it for a bone stock summit engine fo i had to swap the intake manifold but that was it , but the only trouble i ran into was figuring the ignition order out and getting my plugwires on right
if your sure thats OK i'd suggest checking each and every wire in the engine bay and your vacuumhoses
