Log of my first 60k of maintenance

here it is:

http://ryanendres.free2w.com/AmigoTO60k.pdf

I left out the Cheveron techron added to the gas tank before every oil change (after about 15k) and the couple of times I have used Sea Foam in the last year.

The only two warranty items I had was a bad accelerator sensor at 7k and a bad Intake manafold gasket at 52K (no CEL, and I didn't even know it was bad since I didn't have any of the classic symptoms, but my dealer said they found a code and replaced it).

I'm hoping for another 60k of similar results! Well, except for having the tranny filter replaced at about 85k and having the timing belt, water pump and tensor replaced at 100k. And I need new tires sometime this year. And the brakes? Just keep going and going. And at some point in time I will need to replace the muffler. But this is all normal stuff.

I tip my glass to my Amigo! Well done little buddy!

Cheers!

Wish I had treated mine that well for the first 60K, but, better late than never. At least I did oil changes regularly, and now am on top of the rest. She's always treated us well, and now we do the same for her!

Curious, what tires do you plan on going with down the road. My 1st replacements were at 30K, and I put on Michelin XCX/APT, and I swear by them, they still look new after 30K, and have saved my *ss more than a few times. Price wise, they are comparable to the competition, I paid $90 each from sears on sale.

Here's to another 60K of reliable Isuzuing for both of us!

You won't regret it! Have had mine for a year now, and I love 'em. Mine have saved me countless times; see this is a 4x2 living in a 4x4 state - and I don't have reservations with this truck, she goes where most 4x4's wouldn't want to go, and with the help of good tires, 240# of sand-bags in the rear, she always gets me out, without tearing up the land.

The Revo's have done wonders for me, I feel even safer and more confident in knowing I won't get stuck.

If they can turn this truck into a wanna-be 4x4, imagine what they can do on an actual 4x4.

They are also great on the highway with towing a boat.

I am using the Firestone Destination LE's seems to be a good all purpose tire. They do very well in snow and rain as well as when I a, towing the boat. So far so good. Last price I got was $85.

Thats excellent service record keeping. I'm thinking about starting one by creating an Access database and see how the progrogress and cost....thanks for the idea.

I typed it up last night. I write up the same info in the back of my owners manual. And I also have a notebook and that I take the same notes in and staple my reciepts into (for warrenty purposes, if I need it).

I just keep all my service receipts and write down stuff I did myself...it helps when doing your routine maintenance...
