that "ferrari" sound
Ive been a long time Ferrari lover and i cant seem to find out how Ferrari makes thier V8's and V12's sound so incredibly sexy.......How come a typical detroit V8 sounds so much different form lets say the 3.6L from the 360......can someone please tell me???

I've read it's mainly because Ferrari use flat-plane crankshafts on their V8 engines. Most other V8 engines use cross-plane crankshafts. Someone correct me.

also because the Ferrari has much higher revs, and lower torque, and a high-performance exhaust system, whilst, the Detroit V8 has a "regular" exhaust system, that wasn't totally designed specifically for the car, it has less revs and higher torque.
