Question 97 Tahoe Braking

Hey all,

I have a 4dr, 4wd tahoe that seems to have trouble with the brakes.
I've had it in to the dealer, and the computer doesn't report anything is wrong with the ABS.

But, when I push on the pedal the pedal kind of pushes back a little and the sound the ABS system makes comes on. I also slide a little. I've been having trouble with this for about 3 months now. I've also recently had the drums turned, rotors rotated and new pads put on, still problems. For a car just having had new brakes put on the pedal seems soft too. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Re: 97 Tahoe Braking

check your front wheel bearings. More than likely one is on the way out and the sensor has filings on it. You can pull the sensors and clean them.
