civic keeps blowing main fuse on fuse box under the hood when connecting to the batte
a few months ago my brother relocated his battery to the back of his civic. when he was pulling the wires to get more slack ,he touched the positive and negatives together on the positive post on the battery . now the car keeps blowing the main 60 amp fuse under the hood

no offence but are you putting the connectors on the correct terminals? I did that once and I blew the fuse.

sounds like you have too low of a resistance now and you are geting too much current flowing. get a multimeter and start doing some tests.

Re: civic keeps blowing main fuse on fuse box under the hood when connecting to the b
First thing I would do is pull all the fuses (I know this is a pain in the ass but..). Hook up the battery then start with the main fuse if it blows its in the main line from the battery. If not start reinstalling the bigger fuses in the engine bay. As you work your way down you will find the circut the short is in.
