arm rest removal?

how do you remove the armrest off the captains chairs in the expy? wife has some seat covers she wants to install, dealer says they DON"T come off at all?
any help there folks?

I was wondering the same thing. I've got at 98 expy that I've got seat covers on and it's a pain with the arm rest there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All you have to do is start where it connects to the backrest and just pull back the thin covering of the arm rest. Don't pull off the foam. I had to switch the left and right seat arm rests when the driver side's got cracked on top. It's very easy. No tools required.
