eclipse spyder vs gmc sierra v8

hey this is my first thread!
my cousin just bought a gmc sierra, it has a vortec v8, with exhaust,a nd a california concept package. i have a 97 eclipse spyder gst with k$n intake, turbo hard pipe , exhaust, and free mods. we raced and i took him by alot. i also read that my car can run with a svt cobra, is my car really that fast?

my brother just bought a new silverado ss. It's the 6.0 345hp awd ext cab. It only does like a 6.5 0-60 so i would imagine a reg truck with even the 5.3 with basic bolt on would still be easy to beat.
