Ya, u have bad rings or something like that. That is alot of oil. At school there is a maxima that is doing the same thing. Its rings were shot.

Its not that hard to put in a new tranny. 1250$ is very high. U could put a new a6 and si tranny in yor car for that. lol

Re: wheres my oil going???

no, when i upgraded my exaust to a 2.75 inch tubing, it made a hella of a diffrence of the smoke i could see, it poored out like i was using more oil than gas, i knew a few other people who had the same prob. when i had the stock exaust on it, didnt see the blue smoke as much comparted to when i put the new exaust on.

Oil Burning

When I was commuting over 500 miles per week at 85 MPH and up (I'd crank it up to 95 MPH before this really long, steep hill called La Bajada on I-25), burning 2 quarts per month was normal.
If you crank it up to the high rpms every shift and drive over 80 mph, you car will burn more oil, no matter how good your rings are.
Drop your highway speed to a little bit under 80, and that'll stop. Try it for a week, if you have the discipline to stay off the pedal, and you prove it to yourself.
