Parting out Centurion 455

2 of the valves fried on the left head, it still runs but im 18 and on my own, ive already dumped 900$ into this car and can barely get to the gas station i need to get a car cuz i work full time and goto clover tech full time, any offers would be apriciated, i have a 1 month old edelbrock 750cfm 4bbl carb elect. choke (1411 i think) with the q-jet adapter plate and the throttle cable bracket, all shiney and i have recepts 200$ seems fair.i have a 3 week old starter id let go for 30$ i have the recpite for this as well, i have all 4 of the buick rim caps 1 is cracked but could be easly fixed dont know how much their worth, i have all 4 of the gs rally(?) wheels look like knew since the polish id like to see 250 outta these but will settle for less, the distributer is good and all the chrome trim and plates and the mirror and emblems are on it, not 1 is missing, tail lights head lights ect. will part anything and will ship, i live 40 miles south of seattle washington.

Re: Parting out Centurion 455

How much do you want for the whole engine?
Does the seal behind the harmonic balancer leak?

If u want just the engine, id let it go for 150$-200$, but if u want the carb and starter to go with it....Id say 450$-550$, and ill give you all the gaskets i bought and didnt use. Does that sound about right too you?

Re: Parting out Centurion 455

Ill pay $150 for sure if the valves are the only problem. I dont need the carb or starter, im just looking for a spare 455 so i can keep mine original.
Oh and how many miles?

the car either has 59,000 or 159,000 id go with the higher. im throughly convinced its the valves, but their was a choke thing on the intake, i took out the guts and put the plate back it leaks a little exhaust but isnt a big deal. what area do you live in, cuz i know shipping on that thing cannot be cheap, and if you are sure u want it ill take some pics and email you my info.
