b20 help
i have a b20a5 out of a 91 prelude and im putting it in my 89 crx but the head is bad. i was wondering if there is a way i can do a vtec head swap? if not what else can i upgrade to grap cheep hp

what is wrong with the head? you might be able to port and polish it.

the head is in real bad shape i belive its warped.....i did a vtec head swap on my d16 stock motor but im not sure if i can for the b20a5

not too much peole like it because of hte 95mm stroke. it doesnt rev high. lots of torque though

is it gonna make a difference though? i have a stock 1.6 with a vtec head swap in my crx now....can i make the b20 a vtec?

yeah you can make it vtec by putting on a b16 or gsr head on it
