Is There A Work Around For Defective Tcc. The Car Bucks Violently At About 40 Miles Per Hour And Higher. It Smooths Out On Applicaion Of Brake Or Accelleration. Too Cold In Baltimore To Get Under Car Is There Anything I Can Do That Will Get Me To Spring?the vehicle is a 95 transport 3.8l with 95000 miles

What year is the van? If it has a plug on the top of the transmission then simply unplug the TCC and it will drive somewhat better but the convertor will not lock. Gas mileage will suffer. Or take it to a tranny shop shouldn't cost too much to replace.
