MAP sensor?
Hey guys,
I have a 99 Silverado with the 4.3 V6 in it. It's currently kicking and stuttering whenever I push the throttle down more than about 1/3. I'm thinking this is a problem with the MAP sensor. It has new plugs, rotor, cap, wires, and throttle position sensor. The Service engine light comes on occasionally, but not consistently. Is there a simple way to test the map sensor? Also, where is it located on the 4.3? Could it be something else? Thanks. -sparhawk56
