2002 window crank

how the heck do you get the window crank off, i've examined it and tried every thing. someone help!

I have a 2001 Ram 1500, so I'm guessing that the window crank is held on the same way on your Dak. There is a U-shaped metal spring retainer clip on the backside of the crank. The parts store makes a special tool for removing this and the directions are on the back of the package. But if you're cheap like me you can use a piece of wire coathanger and remove the clip by hooking it to the clip and pulling it out of the crank handle. You must first push in on the door panel near the crank handle to gain access to the clip. you can see it once you push in on the door panel.
