EL Glow Guages
okay I Feel foolish for asking but Electrical in these newer cars is not my forte and I can't seem to find a thread that helps enough.
how the heck do I wire some Glow Guages to my car? I don't wanna screw up and fry my electrical and the guages I have are without instructions.... Can someone point me in the direction of a link or offer me some sort of help.... ... maybe I should just get someone to do it for me.. bleh.... thanks everyone.

Re: EL Glow Guages
just wire the ground to a screw that is grounded and take a 12v power wire and tap into it. it is fairly simple check out my old ones.

yet another question about Glow guages. okay I have mine right in front of me and it claims it's possible to install without removing the needles, am I blind or is it just me? That it seems as though the hole is just about the size of the round base of the needle? Is there a trick to getting them on there? I don't wanna have to pull my needles out if I have to... I'm notorious for ruining an old bronco.... >.> And I really don't wanna screw with the Gas guage's needle either (instructions say not to move it????).. so.. are these instructions for real? is it possible to get these guages on without removal of the factory needles?
oy I'm prolly making this harder than it really is.

worse comes to worst... I can always take it into a shop and have them do it.... I'd just feel better about it if I knew how I had it rigged up, that way if something went wrong I could take care of it myself.

Do not try to remove you needles. I messed up my gas guage trying to remove the needles to put my overlay on. You have to slide them on over the needles.

well guys I have the thing sitting right in front of me and I'm nervous to all hell I'm afraid to even touch the needles. I'm wondering what would happen if I were to move them but not remove them?
My problem arises from this. The overlay I have is a complete 1 piece. like so - http://rksport.com/product/p_02049103/view_detail How do I get the overlay on there without taking off the needles? Christ I'm nervous as hell someone guide me >< I'm afraid for my cluster ><
