1g Vs 2g
ok so i was reading 1 topic were it said 1g turbos were rated for more HP then 2gs but when i looked them up the turbo 1g made 195 HP where the 2g made 210 what be up here... also it said there was a optional engine that made 205 HP
so what would be the best option for a high performance GSX GST or TSi

2g does have 15 more HP. 1g has a little more potential for more power only because it comes with a better turbo(14b manual cars only) that can make around 300hp with support mods unlike the 2g's that need a better turbo to see those numbers. Either way, they both can handle a lot of power. 90-92(april) have 6bolt motors which are less likely of crankwalk. If you didnt want to change your turbo out then that means you are probably better off with a 1g if you want to make more power then stock. 1g is cheaper remember that. They are older too. There are so many factors. Read the tuner guide on this site www.dsmtuners.com
