questions about crx

I was looking into buying a crx si.I was wondering with modifications such as intake ,exhuast ,header, pulleys, intake manifold, larger throttle body, short throw shifter, possiably a racing clutch and a 50 shot of wet nitrous. I was wondering what kind of quarter mile times id be looking at with thse mods? would i need to use a aftermarket clutch or is the stock good enough for these mods?Is a 50 shot the most i can run on this engine or can i possiably get a 75 or 100.Thanks for the help

Re: questions about crx

Too many factors. Stock Si number is 16.5 1/4 so with mods maybe a second less and with nitrous maybe a half of a second and a fucked motor. But if you add something like big rims or speakers you'll be slower than stock... LoL

you will definately need more then a stock clutch, i have a DOHC ZC with Intake, Header, Exaust. bored throttle body, and mild port and polish with a pr4 ecu and my clutch slips once and awhile when i really give it. i'm thinking of upgrading to an exedy stage 1 or stage 2 for my car with a light weight flywheel

Hey i was also thinkin of an aftermarket flywheel what would be a good weight to get this is a daily driver so i dont want to light of one just one that would be better then stock also how much nitrous can this motor withstand?

Exedy Stage 1 and ACT 12lb. flywheel a is good choice.

Oh, and I have all those mods, except for bigger throttle body, aftermarket intake and wet nitrous and I'm still in the 15s... I'll go to the track one day and get a slip though.... LoL

Re: questions about crx

you dont want to go to light on the flywheel. I have heard that you dont want to go below 10 or 11 i cant remeber which it was.
