nissan truck 2.4 in d21 hardbody doesnt idle good

i recently changed my head gsket and ever since i have it doesnt want to idle right .everything was fine before .i was thinking maybe egr valve or cleaning the throtle body or idle control sensor no codes about sensors go of on the ecu any suggestions,
also i just bout a rollpan from sir micheals made out of steel problem is the body lines doent match up enough for me to weld it on has any1 had similar problems

check the timing? haven't had a roll pan put on yet but I was considering the sir michael's roll pan. I'd call the company.

Perhaps you might want to check for vacuum leaks (intake)and that all vacuum lines were hooked back up .

Also, like hardbody said check timing....ie. that your valves were both closed when you found tdc on #1,and that your mark at the disttributor #1 post lined up with the mark you made on the block...its easy to put the disttributor in 1 tooth off.......good luck with it
