Question How many times you been pulled over? For what?

OK, guys, be honest! How many times have you been pulled over? This INCLUDES verbal warnings, written warnings, taillights out, failing to use turn signals, accidents, speeding, barking like a chicken out the window of the car and getting dragged out, handcuffed and searched in a very disconserting way, etc... And what'dja get pulled over for? Finally, how many tickets have you gotten?

I'll start - unless anyone else wants to..... no? well fine then.

My number of pull-overs have been in the double didgets for some time now.

1) Pulled over 10 times for speeding

2) I've been issued 9 speeding tickets in 5 counties and 3 states.

3) I've been pulled over 4 times for malfunctioning car parts, i.e., my taillights were out. And one of them only pseudo-counts because the cop pulled me over and i came down the same street again later and he pulled me over again, not realizing it was me again.

4) I've been pulled over once for barking like a chicken out the window of the car. Yes, I had good reason. I swear. I think I've told tat story 'round here?

5) I've been pulled over once for driving intoxicated, but the cop, in an AMAZING display of grace, only had my friend come pick me up. 'course, the friend that picked me up, unbenounced to me, was stoned off his ass. I'll have to type that story up sometime. that's one of my best. btw, if you ever DO get pulled over while drunk, NEVER ADMIT DRUNKENNESS!!!

6) I've been pulled over once for reckless endangerment, which I got out of immedietly afterwards because the cop didn't notice initially that I was swerving to miss a lady who tried to pull out in front of me and realized she couldn't and stopped in my lane.

7) I've been cited once for failure to yield after my first accident. The second accident, I drove off before the cop could get there.

That's a grand total of 18 times.

At least that I can remember. I think I got them all covered. I guess next question is gonna be how many times have you gotten away before they can catch you...

Holy shit their man looks like you have your fair share of violations, me never! I keep updating my radar/laser detector and follow most traffic rules. The closet I have ever come to get in trouble while in a vehicle was when we were rollin down a back road while "rollin" stuff. There was a glare on the windshield and then we saw a big ol light on top of a big ol Michigan State Police cruiser. Lets just say that was a very tense moment.

Never, in spite of the fact that I speed and always used to break the conditions when my license was restricted.

ummm Too Much Information dude., no need to get so specific.

Okay lets see, I think only about 4 times in my lifetime. Not counting getting rear ended.

Once in New Jersey, I had to double park to let my aunt out who is disabled, since a jerk parked in a diabled parking spot and the cops actually had the nerve to tell me, "I do not know how you do it in NY, but we do not do that here. Move the vehicle" After having a few words with him for not giving the jerk a ticket and seeing my disabled aunt getting out, the jerk still gives me a ticket for obstructing traffic. Jerk.

2 both resulted in tickets.
one for speeding and one for failing to obey a traffic control device.

And if you want to count.... one photo red light for (drum roll) running a redlight.

Re: How many times you been pulled over? For what?

Yay I have a nice even number 10

One time for stealing roadsigns while drunk. Before yall fuss at me for driving around drunk it was on a dirt road that about 10 people live in at 3am....why there was a cop on that road I have no idea. Got charged with theft by taking but no dui because they couldnt get a sure breathalizer number thinggy on me. I had gum in my mouth and no one told me to take it out so it kept reading completely different things. Once I think it read 2. something...I must have been wasted!

Once for racing my friend, the only reason why I got pulled over and not him is because i schooled him and by the time he saw the cop he already had his lights on for me.

4 times on my way to my dads. One of the times I was about 5 minutes from home so I told the cop that I had to take a dump really bad and if he wanted to give me a ticket to either get it over with or meet me at my house...he let me go.

Once going home from florida making an 8 hour trip in 5 hours. I pulled off onto exits 4 other times avoiding cops but one finally got me about 100 miles from home. The great part about it is it was fathers day and I told him I was trying to get home to see my dad so he only gave me a ticket for going 80 in a 70

Once for not wearing my seatbelt in a full sized truck in Georgia, which is legal.

And a couple times just for speeding.

The great thing is out of all of these times of being pulled over Ive only gotten 4 tickets. You just gotta sweet talk the cops and show em some leg sometimes.

Re: How many times you been pulled over? For what?

Two times, two tickets (got screwed over once).

1. Speeding...44 in a 25. Kind of lame because it was a commercial area on a Wednesday night, but I was speeding, so I'm not gonna complain.

2. Loud exhaust. This one was bullshit. I drove like normal from a light, the cop follows me for about 2 miles, I see him and don't speed, so he pulls me over for the exhaust. As he's writing the ticket, an older Vette drives by with exhaust twice as loud as mine. I get dicked over, the better car gets away.

Hey!. Don't drive away from an accident. IT's people like you that F*&^ up the rest of us by driving off. Unless it is the other persons fault in which you wouldn't want to drive away.

If it's legal to not wear a seatbelt in a full sized truck in Georgia, why were you stopped?

Re: How many times you been pulled over? For what?

Hmmm.......After driving since 1982 and at least a half million miles, I have been pulled over for:

*spinning donuts in a gravel parking lot, in dad's truck, no less. (ticket)

*driving along the shoulder of a really busy highway, passing the stopped traffic (ticket and highly deserved)

*Speeding while passing another car on a residential street (ticket)

*Having a loud exhaust on my thoroughly disreputable sex-machine-custom van. (When the cop found out I actually did not have his daughter inside, he let me go)

*Driving my nice, quiet, ordinary van at 3 am Sun. morning, for no good reason at all. The cop must have been bored (no ticket).

All this taught me is to have a good look around for the fuzz before I do anything adventurous.

-2 times driving wiyh no headlights
-1 california roll
-1 speeding
-many parking tickets
-Ive been let go though a few times in other cases ,like when I was speeding another time the cop let me go,When I was younger I got pulled over with this girl and we had a bong in the car.We also had good chronic and the cop liked it and called it danky. He made us break the bong ,he took the ganja and let us go.
Another time me and my homey were on the way back from frisco going south on the 5 and he was driving and we were smoking medical marijuana we got out there ,the highway patrol pulled us over. They then took him to jail, impounded the car and told me good luck.I walked about 30 miles south to a city called los banos and there he was in there jail. The next day they let him out ,We got the car from the impound lot for alot of money, and took off.

And Ive been pulled over many times for no reason and all the time they cant pin nothing on me.

Re: How many times you been pulled over? For what?

Twice. Both times for speeding, and in one case for trying to outrun a cop

Managed to talk my way out of both... legend

It was during the "click it or ticket" campaign, the cop gave me a ticket and I took it by the police station the next day and they said not to worry about it and took it off. Guess that cop was just tryin to meet his ticket quota or something.
