one is the PCV (positive crank case vent)from the top of the engine. and the other is IAT (intake air temperature. you need to make a small hole in your intake tubing and stich the temp line in there. as for the PCV you can get a little filter specially made for that.

ok more info. i got the air filter to work i got the hoses and drilled into the intake pipe and rerouted the hoses and works great now. you can hear the sucking when you step on it. i dont burn oil as much now but apperenty i looked into my crank case vent turb and it was nothing but oil. i opend the air box and guess what my filter was pure black. there was an oil puddle at the bottom of the airbox. so what is causing it? do i need to get a new oem head? im 17 and about to get a job so i can get it fixed. i have to get it to were everything is mechanicly sound so i can go to uti and its 6 hours away so i dont want anything tearing up on me. my dads says he thinks its the valve seals. could it be? or something else?

Re: air box help!!!!!!!

You should replace the pcv valve and clean the inside of both vent hoses or better yet replace them.

Sometimes the baffles inside the valve cover get plugged up and causes crankcase pressure to increase. That forces the oil into the breather tube to the air cleaner.

Pull the valve cover and have a look. Can't hurt at the mileage thats probably on the engine anyway.

Re: air box help!!!!!!!

Shouldn't need special tools. Should be good again for almost as long as it's been good now.

Just tag any lines you have to take off to get the cover out.
