sputtering

I have installed new plugs(ac) new PCV valve and a new fuel filter. Truck idles fine but when getting on xway the truck seems to sputter. I run 87 octane gas. Can anyone help.

Could be the fuel pressure regulator.

would that cause a problem all the time or just when eccelerating at about 1500 rpm

Could also be water in the fuel. Try running some gas line antifreeze through it.
