307/305 carb swap

I have a '88 caprice with a 305, and the carb is shot. I can get my hands on rebuilt 307 carb from a '83 buick riviera. Will this 307 carb fit on my 305?

it depends on how big your johnson rod is.... if its the 2 and a quarter size you are good. Other than that prob not
