Unhappy b18b with no spark, help me please!

put a new block on my b18, same head and parts etc. but now the dist. wont produce spark. Its getting power but not producing any. can you help me ?

i just put a b18b1 in my hatch and im getting the same problem, i have no clue what is wrong...you let me know if you find out the prob...and ill let you know if i find out

did you forget to hook the distributor up to the end of the cam when you reassembled the block?? That's the only thing i can think of that would be wrong.

I fixed it and it turned out to be the wrong distributor. Changed it out and it worked fine. You should try that, or check all those grounds. I missed one of them putting my engine in. Hope that helps. let me know!

yea....i found it all out....it was a ground wire that was on the drivers side goin throught the firewall....all runnin and everything....thanks for all the help peoples:P

I just drop the same engine in my 94 hatch, everything is looking good.
I have not drive it jet because of a missing mount but that is not the problem, the problen is that the catalytic and the header don't meet. I heard that as soon as I put the rear mount on they will meet, but I also heard I have to buy an extension in order to make it work. Did you have any problems with that? what abut your linkage? did it give you any problems?
