Motor Dies at Redlights
Hey guys,
I made a post in the Lumina forum already, but didnt get to many replies, so I thought I might try here and see if anyone might know whats causing this. I have a 1991 Chevy Lumina V6 3.1L with 157,000 miles on it. About 2 weeks ago it started to die when I come to a stop at red lights, and sometimes when I pull into a parking spot, and stuff like that. If i keep my foot on the gas and keep the car around 1,000 RPM's it doesnt die, but when I do that sometimes the SES light comes on. I havnt had time to pull the codes yet, but I will probably do that sometime tomorrow, and post them here and see if that helps. Im an idiot when it comes to cars, so any advice is welcome .

When I put it in neutral it doesnt die, but it dont seem like it is idling right. This only happens when the car is warmed up also. In the morning when I go out and start it everything seems fine, but once it gets warmed up it will start to have a wierd idle.
