Question 95 s10 zr2 service engine soon light

My light is on, but neither the obd2 or key will read the codes. I took it to a shop and they hooked it up to a snap-on computer and it said there was nothing wrong with it. It does run fine. But the light is on, I have tried reseting the computer but it comes right back on, I found out what it was. One of the wires going to my plug for the obd2 was broken. I connected them and got the code. It was the cps camshaft position sensor I put it on and the light is off. thanks for the help though

you took it to a shop and they couldnt figure out what was keeping the light on? or after they couldnt get
codes they didnt look further into it?
something is keeping your light on, if no codes than
maybe your light is just malfunctioning.
id have to read up on this one. i hope someone can help you out.
im sure someone here will have the answers you need. good luck.

Go to a different shop.

Engine light is on for a reason.
