Angry 1995 chevy suburban transmission

I have a 1995 suburban, I was in a wreck in oct. it was hit on the front left. but anyways, after it was fixed I was having problems with the left blinker blinking faster then it should, now it is fine but I am having problems with the transmission. I just had the shifting silinoids replaced and that didn't help. sometimes it is fine but most of the time it isn't. When I start out from a stop it doesn't seem to want to go and the engine revs up then it will start going. If I put it in first or second gear and shift up to third and drive it is fine but doesn't seem to come out of overdrive. Plus my tacometer and speedometer doesn't work most of the time, and the shift selector light goes out. Plus I get the check gages light and when driving it flashes but when idling it just stays on unless it is in first or second gear. I hope this is clear enough.
Thanks
Renee

Lightbulb i know wat up

well my suburban does the same thing. you need to get a shift improvment kit around $200 and you will have tighter shifts and wont rev and then go any more.

Re: i know wat up

I still want to believe that it is wiring or something like that. Cause it sometimes will be ok.
Thanks

Thanks, my mechanic has found that it is probably the ignition switch so he is going to replace it.

Re: 1995 chevy suburban transmission

I have a 95 3/4 ton long box truck and I have a problem when I get on the gas anytime it will shift into 3 gear and stay there. I hvae to turn the truck on and off several times before it goes back to normal.

Well I finally got it fixed. It was the ignition switch. Boy it runs like it use too.
