has anyone had to replace the front main seal on a 94 lincoln mark8,if so how much did it cost?

If you are talking about the oil seal on the front main shaft, I had it done at an independant shop for about $100 + the cost of the seal. I think the seal was less than $10. I had tried to do it myself but could not get the nut off the crank shaft. What the guy used was a shorty impact which spun it right off. I told him that I had loosened it up for him by wrenching it for an hour
