Re: iat sensor

well go delete your other post, you have the option to delete your own post. And yes a Intake will give you a performance increase, maybe 3-5HP. As for the IAT sensor, if you use the stock S tube, then just leave the sensor, if not your going to need to drill a hole if their isnt one in your new intake and mount it somewhere.

He said just put a filter direct on the TB. I wouldn't for the sensors sake. Also it would be a HAI. this is why intake l;ocate the filter away form the motor, the Heat! Just buy an intake, you'll get better sound as the tube will amplify the sound!

Re: iat sensor

anyone ever try the "iat relocation trick"? ...to move the iat sensor behind the fog light grill so cooler air will pass over it,and trick the ecu to think that there is cooler air into the engine, which, some people say, will advance your timing like 3 degree & flow a little more fuel through the injectors....im not talking about the shitty ass ebay resistor thing, this is not supposed to dump a shitload of fuel into the cylinders like those do.but if anyones tried it,post about any results

the ebay things are pretty much the exact same thing. But now ive seen them where you can control it. The IAT sensor relocation trick wont get you any noticeable HP gains. Just a waste of time.
