Raced a Tiburon
A buddy of mines has a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon, I have a 89 CRX DX. We raced two times. We had a 15 MPH rolling start, I got ahead till about 60 MPH, then the Tiburons near 50 hp advantage made itsself apparent. Then we had a drag start. I grinded in 2nd, but caught up in 3rd, then got left again, the top speeds reached 105 MPH the 2nd race, and 90 the first. Shit!, it was fun. The D15B6 impressed me on full boil, beating a car(15-60mph)with 48 more hp(yeah the crx is lighter,so what) I told him when I locate a B16 he will be destroyed!

nice.. tiburons are not bad at all
people dis hyundais all the time but they are not bad cars at all of course in showroom stock road racing the tiburons got a$$raped by the EK Si's ![]() well.. so did everything else in the C2K class of the grand am cup series ![]() that made the C2K class kinda uninteresting.. yea, its nice that the home team is winning, but the ST class was the most interesting class with the best mix of cars (everything from boxsters to ITRs to Z3s and 240SX's, and in case you are wondering, yes the ITR can "hang"
