I'm thinking about buying a Rodeo what do you think?
I'm looking at buying a 94-95 Rodeo with the V6. It has 128,000 miles on it has new shocks on it. That's all I really know about the thing. The guy is asking $2000 for it let me know what you guys think about this since I have never owned a Isuzu Rodeo.

I love mine, in fact, I've had 2 Rodeo's. A 91 V6, and currently a 97 V6 - original owner of both, and I wouldn't chose to own any other kind of SUV. My only complaint is that Isuzu hasn't built a full size 3/4 ton truck in "their" name only, don't want a chevy truck.
I personally wouldn't give you 2 cents for a 4-runner; sorry, but every person I've known with a 4-runner has had more problems with head gasket failures, sludging in the engine, transmission shifting noises, etc. I'm very partial to the 91-97 Rodeo years, their V6's are worth their weight in gold, and very bulletproof in my opinion. I'd personally say check up on all maintenance records, and/or have an "Import" mechanic look at it. I have 134K flawless miles on my 97 V6, all original, exception is tires, batteries, alternator, etc. typical wear/tear items.

Re: I'm thinking about buying a Rodeo what do you think?
Yeah, a couple of occasions my engine had no oil (well not completely dry - but it IS a 1993 v6!), I was surprised my truck ran until I added more oil in it....damn thing is a tank! I had major oil leaks a year ago and ran fine until I got her fixed this year (very minor leak, but I could live with it). Truck is now 126K and going strong. Changed alternator, belts, O2 sensor, battery, new sound system, brakes, shocks and other wear and tear stuff...truck might be old but to me, she's Old reliable...lol...

I'm sure you're just kidding...I didn't find anything offensive in your posts, unless you're attacking other users....
