96 Corsica Starts Only With Foot on the Gas Pedal

It does this only when cold. 3.1 V6 45.000 miles

Good chance its your IAC motor( idle air control) change that or you can have it scaned to see if your coolant sensor is bad

I took apart the IAC and found the threaded rod was screwed out all the way. Tightend it up and cleaned it and now it starts ok.
