Where is the igntion switch located?

I picked up a few things for my car the other day, and i must of been thinking of a different part or somethin cuz the parts arrived today and the igntion switch is not what i thought it would be. For ten bucks though it aint worth me returning it. I was wondering where this is located at, i might as well install it if i have it.

Re: Where is the igntion switch located?

I forgot to ask this as well, i picked up another lock cylinder and key for my igntion and was wondering if there is a trick to removing the lock cylinder from the sterring column. I know you press the little button to release it, but it does not seem to want to come out.

The ignition switch is at the bottom of the steering column right under the dash. It has break-off bolts holding it big time bitch to change. If you don't need to just ignore it.

Turn the key into the KOEO position and you may have to really apply force to get the pin to push up. Also a lot of force maybe needed to pull the cylinder out.
