Hesitation and backfire on acceleration.

Here is a question-

While driving along at speed, suddenly...hesitation the engine misses.

I noticed that when I punch the accelerator and raise RPM that the condition improves.

I live in a third world country with lots of dirty gas.

What do you think is the problem?

if you`ve got dirty fuel, my bet is either blocked fuel filter or dirty injectors/carb jets - depending on what you engine is
