Doors won't lock in car / Keyfob doesn't work
I just installed a remote start/keyless entry in a 2003 Corolla. The remote start works great, but the door locks no longer work. I hooked the locks back up as how they came from the factory, but they still don't work. The switches in the car don't do anything, and the keyfob doesn't do anything. The panic button doesn't even do anything. I metered the wires for the door lock/unlock and the door lock motors and they are all getting power. The voltage on the lock and unlock wire's changes when pressing the lock/unlock button in the car, so a signal is getting there. Fuse is all good. Anyone know what the hell I did, and how to fix it? Thanks.

Re: Doors won't lock in car / Keyfob doesn't work
Did u get the right wires you have to meter the wires with the keycylinder on here hope thsi helps if not let me know i do this for a living.
Power Lock green - driver kick, blue 12 pin plug Notes: Meter these wires while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder. Power Unlock blue/yellow (double pulse) - driver kick, blue 12 pin plug Notes: Meter these wires while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder. Can also use the passenger door key cylinder wire for unlock, which only requires a single pulse. It is blue/black (-) in the passenger kick in a blue 12 pin plug. |
