Tranny wont shift into high gear
Hi everyone,
I have a 93 Toyota long bed PU with an auto transmission. I just bought it Friday so I'm also new to this Forum. Heres my problem: it appears that it dosnt shift into high gear when near or at higway speeds. When I disengage the Overdrive there is no noticable difference. Eats gas like crazy. What should I be looking for?

Try changing the thermostat. The transmission is temprature controlled. Also may want to change tranny fluid. Just a couple of suggestions.
