changing spark plugs on the sonata 2.4v
can anyone helpme, I want to change the spark plugs on the sonata 2001, I am able to access the front 3, but need to know how many things I need to dismantle on the manifold to get at the back 3. Do I need to take the carburetter off as well, and then replace all the gaskets?

Re: changing spark plugs on the sonata 2.4v
You will need to take the intake manifold off. I can complete the task in about 20 min but i have done dozens. set aside two hours and you'll have no problems. Oh yeah there are no carburators on newer hyundais unless you are from a third world country.......where hyundai actually still uses carburators on some models..weird huh.
