91 240sx vs. 99 civic si

yea i'd like to know as well... time for an experiment? although, it's hard to believe a '91 will beat a '99 with a lighter chassis. I think stock vs. stock the si will have a better start... but maybe once you've hit 3rd gear w/ 4,000+ you'll rip.

The SI will win unless he messes up real bad. SI's are slow as shit but so are stock 240's. Everytime I get back into my Civic, I am reminded of how slow my 240SX is. Some day a turbo kit will go on, but until then, my daily driver is a slow ass car that is fun to get sideways.

yea man, just race him, don't gotta ask us, we're not scientists. i thought my stock Clipse RS would get get smoked by my friends 1.8L turbo Jetta, but i finally raced him today and hung with his ass. he has an auto tho, and i have 5 speed shiftin skills, lol yay me. and all i got is air intake which got put in today, woot woot for my first performace upgrade EVER

hmmm im leaning towards the civic....as much as i hate civics, but 240's arnt quick stock. Dunno man. Just find out like everyone else is saying.
